Education
After attending St. Louis Catholic in Lake Charles, David attended Millsaps College in Jackson, MS. At Millsaps, David was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity, a three-year captain and all-conference selection as a member of the Millsaps Tennis Team, and received his Bachelor of Arts degree with a Major in Political Science in 1997. David then attended the Paul M. Hebert School of Law at Louisiana State University, receiving his juris doctorate in 2000.
Narrative
David began his career representing the FDIC in financial institution law matters, professional liability litigation, and financial fraud litigation. He joined Blue Williams in 2006 after several years representing insureds in the worker’s compensation and auto-litigation defense fields, including trucking cases. He has tried cases in courts across the state in automobile defense matters and worker’s compensation cases. With Blue Williams he handles defending homeowners and businesses in property and personal injury claims, and counsels clients on bad faith claims and coverage issues under a wide variety of homeowner’s, automobile and commercial policies. When not practicing law, David enjoys spending time with his family, LSU football, golf and tennis. He is married to Nicole and they have three children - Elise and twins Lila and Bennett.

David is a member of the New Orleans Bar Association and the Louisiana State Bar Association. David is admitted to practice before all Louisiana State Courts, the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Middle Districts of Louisiana, the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Louisiana Supreme Court.
