Education
Ms. Boyd received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where she was a member of the Dean’s List, “Who’s Who Among American Colleges and Universities” and “Outstanding Senior” in the College of Arts and Sciences. In 1987, she entered Loyola Law School in New Orleans, Louisiana, where she served as Casenotes/Comments Editor of the Loyola Law Review and also a member of Alpha Sigma Nu National Legal Honor Society. Ms. Boyd received her Juris Doctorate Degree in 1990.
Narrative
Prior to joining Blue Williams, L.L.P. in 1991, Ms. Boyd was a judicial law clerk for Justice Jack Crozier Watson on the Louisiana Supreme Court. Ms. Boyd also attended Tulane University School of Law, where in 1994, she received a Master of Law (L.L.M.) in Energy and Environment “With Distinction.” Ms. Boyd’s practice includes insurance defense litigation, with particular focus on a variety of coverage issues, asbestos litigation along with extensive motion practice and appellate work.

Ms. Boyd is a member of the American Bar Association, the Louisiana State Bar Association, the New Orleans Bar Association and the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel. Ms. Boyd is admitted to practice in all Louisiana courts. Mrs. Boyd holds an B/V® Peer Review Rated certification mark from Martindale-Hubbell.
