Education
Mrs. Maldonado graduated 3rd in her class from Redeemer-Seton High School in 1997. In 2001, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Xavier University while on the Dean’s list. Mrs. Maldonado received her Juris Doctorate in Civil Law and a certificate in Common Law from Loyola University, School of Law – New Orleans in 2005 where she was a staff member of Loyola’s nationally recognized Moot Court program, an advocate on the Black Law Student Association’s semi-final Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial team, a research assistant to Professor James E. Viator and a member of ATLA.
Narrative
Mrs. Maldonado is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana. While at Xavier University, she acted as project coordinator of a tutorial program, Xavier Reads, which assisted 2nd grade Orleans Parish school children with their literary skills. While at Loyola Law School, Mrs. Maldonado traveled to Cuernavaca, Mexico where she studied immigration law and western legal tradition. Mrs. Maldonado joined Blue Williams in August of 2005.

Mrs. Maldonado is admitted to practice before all state courts in Louisiana. She is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Eastern District. She is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, American Bar Association and Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel.
