Narrative
Mr. Overby began practicing law in New Orleans in 1996 and developed experience in the areas of maritime, insurance, and business law. To further develop his transactional practice, he continued his legal education at Georgetown University Law Center, where in 2003 he received a Masters in Taxation and a Certificate in Employee Benefits Law. Following graduation, he commenced his practice involving business transactions, estate planning and administration at the Nashville, Tn. law firm of Evans, Jones & Reynolds, P.C. Shortly after Katrina, drawn by his affection for New Orleans, he returned home and became of counsel to Blue Williams in March 2006.
Mr. Overby is married to the former Lisette Katherine Benton.
