Education
Mrs. Peyton graduated cum laude and was awarded Phi Beta Kappa honors from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Arts in History and a minor in French. She received her juris doctor from Tulane University School of Law in May 1996, graduating cum laude.
Narrative
Mrs. Peyton is a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. After clerking for the U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Administrative Law Judge C. Richard Avery, she joined Blue Williams in April, 1998. Mrs. Peyton has concentrated her practice on representing health care providers in professional liability including, physicians, ophthalmologists, dentists, hospitals, nurses, therapists, and other allied health care personnel. She also represents these clients with regard to contracts. In addition to her work with the health care industry, she represents clients in complex commercial litigation, and defends automobile liability cases. In her free time, Mrs. Peyton enjoys photography, antiquing, collecting silver and riding horses.
