Education
Mr. Gruner obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Louisiana State University in 1989. While in undergraduate, he was a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity and Psi Chi National Honor Society. Mr. Gruner then attended the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University, receiving his Juris Doctorate in 1992.
Narrative
Mr. Gruner, a New Orleans native, was admitted to the Louisiana Bar in October of 1992. He practiced in the Casualty section of a large New Orleans firm from 1992 until 2003 where he primarily represented physician and hospital clients in malpractice and general liability litigation. Prior to joining Blue Williams, L.L.P. in August of 2006 in an Of Counsel position, Mr. Gruner was a member of the Legal Department of Louisiana’s largest medical malpractice insurance company where he litigated malpractice cases for physician clients.

Mr. Gruner is admitted to practice before all State and Federal courts in Louisiana. He is a member of the American and Louisiana Bar Associations. Mr. Gruner holds an B/V® Peer Review Rated certification mark from Martindale-Hubbell.
