Education
Thomas G. Buck was born in New Orleans in 1957. After attending Benjamin Franklin Senior High, he attended Louisiana State University and received his Bachelor’s degree in Management and Administration in 1979. After several years as a nuclear certified inspector, Tom returned to school to receive his juris doctorate with Law Review honors from Loyola University in 1984. He is married to a teacher and they have two children.
Narrative
Tom started working with Blue Williams as a law clerk in 1983. He has a general trial practice. He specializes in defending homeowners and businesses in property and personal injury claims, but also handles cases involving product liability, automobile and truck accidents, construction defects, defamation, molestation, premises security, employment and housing disputes. He counsels clients on bad faith claims and coverage issues under a wide variety of policies. His clients include State Farm Fire and Casualty Company, Zurich Insurance Company, First Financial Insurance Company, Burlington Insurance Group, United National Insurance Company, Metlife and St. Paul Traveler’s Insurance Company.

Tom is a member of the New Orleans Bar Association, the Jefferson Bar Association, the Louisiana State Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. He is a member of the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel and has served on their Board of Directors. Tom practices before all Louisiana State and Federal Courts. Mr. Buck holds an B/V® Peer Review Rated certification mark from Martindale-Hubbell.
